Biographical Information:

Halle is a fourth-year undergraduate student with majors in biology and computer science and a minor in Hispanic studies. After graduation, she hopes to study computational biology as part of a graduate program.

In the lab, she is studying the NAGNAG motifs at 3′ splice sites. In particular, she is focused on the ways in which single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) affect how such sequences are spliced and their effects on the resultant amino acid chain.

Outside of the lab, Halle enjoys reading, running, and playing piano.
